After we woke up, we went to the train station. Once we got there, I got a croissant. We said goodbye to Pauli and Artur and got on a train to Brussels.
The train to Brussels took two hours. Then we got on another train to Luxembourg. On that train, I played Escoba de Quince with Mami, but we did not get to finish because we had arrived.
We left the train station and went walking around Luxembourg City. On our walk, I looked down from the parapet on the eastern side of the old fortress and saw a very beautiful garden. Also, we saw a party of some kind going on in somebody's garden by the river.
We took a little too long to walk around the fortress, so we had to hurry to get back. We made it on the train, but my dad went into a car that did not have a door that would let you go into our car, so he had to get off the train and then get back on. I was scared that he was not going to make it. Luckily, he made it on and we were all okay.
My mom gave me a bubble gum flavored lollipop that she had bought for me to eat on the train. It was very good. My mom and I restarted the Escoba de Quince game, and I won. The train ride took one hour.
When the train arrived in Trier, Germany, we were in our fourth country in one day: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.
We went to place near our Air B&B to eat dinner. I had five slices of pizza.
Then we went to the Air B&B. It had an outstanding terrace with a very good view of Trier.
After we had been there for while, we went on a walk. We saw the Black Gate (Puerta Negra). It has been standing for almost 2,000 years!
On our way back home, we got ice cream. I got raspberry, banana, and passion fruit. It was tasty!
Here is list of my favorite things I did today:
1. Riding on the trains
2. Ice Cream
3. Walking through Luxembourg and Trier
