Drinking from the Goblet of Fire

So Emi introduced himself to Mr. Harry Potter on September 22nd, when Mari ordered the complete series from Scholastic Books.

He finished book one, The Sorcerer's Stone, ten days later, on Friday, October 2nd.

On Saturday, October 3rd, he got up at 7 a.m. and read book two, The Chamber of Secrets for almost three hours. He finished it the same day--a day when he also scored his first goal of the soccer season, saw TCU blast Texas 50-7, and joined me and my press pass on Norris Field to watch ECU run its record to 4-1 with a win over Patrick Crayton's alma mater, Northwestern OK (that was a good day.)

He started book three, The Prisoner of Azkhaban on Saturday the 3rd, and finished it yesterday, October 10th--a day when we saw the 1-4 Longhorns upset the undefeated Sooners and then saw the 5-0, #2-ranked Horned Frogs rally from an 18-point halftime deficit to beat the Wildcats in Manhattan (another good day).

He started drinking from book four--The Goblet of Fire--yesterday.

The U-12 Ada Energy: Green

From left to right on the bench, that's: Zeke, Angel, Dexter, Ian, Colby, Andrew, Emilio, and Trevor.
On the ground: Sam and Colton

Here's one with Coach Tyler.

And here's one with a late-arriving Carlos (between Angel and Zeke on the first row).

Game Three: Goal One

Pre-game sprints.

At the twenty-second mark, Emilio draws the attention of the defense and does a nice job of centering a ball that was passed to him to create an excellent opportunity for a shot on goal.

Effective slalom ends with a centering set-up.

The Energy faithful cheer Emi on as he mixed it up in the box.

Yes! Efficient.
