Bruges and Amsterdam have something in common. They are filled with canals.
On our walk, my dad got a new camera lens while my sister, my mom, my brother, and I went to a grocery store and a bakery. Then we met my dad and went and had lunch by a canal. I had a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. It was awesome!
After lunch, we went to the Vincent Van Gogh museum. It had mostly Van Gogh, but there were a few sculptures by other artists.
We got multi media so we could listen about the paintings. I learned that the first sketch of Van Gogh's "The Potato Eaters" did not have five people. It had four.
My dad couldn't take photos in the museum because it was not allowed, so we got the picture to the right from the internet. It shows a replica of a Van Gogh painting that you could smell and touch.
Once we left the museum, we got on a tram and rode it to the train station. Then we got on a train to The Hague. We met Artur and Paulina at the train station and went on a super long walk. We stopped thrice. The first time we stopped, we got fries. The second time we stopped, we went to a Chinese restaurant. I had a lot of rice! It was awesome!
Then we ate ice cream. I got banana. It was good!
