Cast Reunion

On Thursday night, we went as a family to the Dorothy Summers theatre at ECU to see the world premier of "The Evil Side of Beautiful," which was written and directed by Vickie Reifsnider, who was also the director/closer of "Beauty and The Beast" and is one of Emilio's biggest fans. The musical featured a cast of thousands, most of whom attended the annual drama camp she runs, and we knew that our friends David and Serena Elliott were going to be in the show. What we did not know is that almost every principal actor from "Beauty and the Beast" was going to be in show as well (with the exception of Belle and LeFou). The show was fun, but watching Emilio shyly approach his old friends after the show and watching them light up and greet him with enthusiastic smiles and hugs was the highlight of the night for me.
