ReDirkulous

The Dallas Morning News ran an online contest to pick a nickname for Dirk. I submitted "ReDirkulous," and did my best to stuff the online ballot box. The result? Four tickets near the floor--probably the closest I will ever be to an NBA game. Brian and Dad met us there. Dad had the foresight to wear a bright yellow sweatshirt. You can see him in this shot. He's on the fourth row behind the aisle behind the basket. I'm the second bald head on the row. Brian is wearing navy beside me. Emilio must be in there somewhere.
Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Jason Terry, Delonte West, Lamar Odom suited up for the Mavs, but, ironically enough, Dirk was out with a rare injury. Steve Nash, Grant Hill, and Marcin Gortat took the floor for the Suns. We won 93-87, and The Matrix led the way with 29.
