Season First, Game Four: Game on!

The first game of this doubleheader: our toughest test yet. We thought we might get rained out.

Orange strikes fast, and for the first time this season, we're on the wrong side of the scoreboard. Not long after this, Orange scores again to put us into a 0-2 hole. When Emi's coach points out the score to Emilio, Emilio responds "So we just need three goals to take the lead." You gotta love the way he thinks.

Emi's coach tells him he needed to wake up. He does.

Usually an instinctive, relentless attacker, Emi strategizes this time. I can't decide if this is overconfidence on his part or an imitation of the way his coach practices with them or something else.

The opposing team's fans focus on Emilio's domination of the ball: "Take it from him, son! . . . Take it from him, guys!"

Tied up.

We've got a battle on our hand, folks. Watch Emi's face at the end when he responds to a comment from the guy who almost scored. He knows that was a close shave.

We take the lead for the first time.
