The Whirling Dervish
At this 15-month check-up this past Monday, we learned that The Whirling Dervish is 2 feet, 6 and 3/4 inches tall (78 cms) and weighs 24 pounds and 4 ounces (11 kilos), which puts him near the 50th percentile in both measurements. The patient endured another round of innoculations on Monday as well, and he won't have to go through that again until November 2009. And that's a certainly a cause for dancing celebration.

I see nothing whirling but the maternal hands in this foto, but I recall an earlier view when some offscreen voice mentioned "music" to the WD, and he reached through the mesh barrier (as those hands do here) instead of to the WD version. I noticed then and am affirmed now in my explanation of the action. But I am too sick about the lost files to take much delight even here.
Oh my has he grown! He is such a big boy now. But he still has that adorable baby face!
