Emilio spent a long stretch of time today and yesterday reading independently. Those of you who are familiar with the adventures of Dora the Explorer will recognize the moment when he comes to the page on which a recurring character--"Swiper" the fox--appears. One page later, he whispers a warning: "Swiper! No Swiping!"
When Emi goes into his reading zone, I try not to break the spell.
