Emilio and I went to ECU's first home football game this past Saturday. As always, we sat on the field, just outside ECU's end zone. We won the game over Southern Nazarene, 35-17, and Emilio snagged six footballs after extra points and incomplete passes. A photographer for the local paper took this photo, which did not make it into the paper, perhaps because I have recently been featured there with my other two children?

Who knew the Bentons were so photogenic? Besides the grandparents, I mean. What a great ECU perk that on the field, up close and personal experience continues to be! Go Tigers!
